Card Instant Funding: This quarter we’ve enhanced our Marqeta for Banking suite of account and money movement capabilities with Card Instant Funding.
Card Instant Funding
enables a cardholder to pull funds from their external debit or prepaid card onto their Marqeta-issued debit or prepaid card, with funds available instantly. This is an example of an account-to-account transfer, which has many advantages, including reduced transaction costs, enhanced security, and most notable for cardholders, instant account funding so they can get to using their new account quickly.

Data Marketplace Enhancements: Marqeta’s Data Marketplace is a curated catalog of Marqeta’s data products where customers can discover, experiment, and make purchases in a self-serve manner.
Each product has a detailed page that allows customers to understand the business outcomes delivered by the product, use cases for which the product is suitable, subscription pricing terms, and the capability for admin users to easily subscribe or unsubscribe their organization to a data product.
The catalog currently includes the following.
- Merchant Dictionary
- Quarterly Network Report
- Bank Files
- Augmented Data Services (L2/L3 Data)
Worth noting from the above list is our recent enhancement to Merchant Dictionary (launched last year). The Merchant Dictionary deciphers Merchant ID (MID) and merchant name variations and then rolls them into a single clean merchant name for easier interpretation, improved authorization rates and reduced fraud. With its most recent enhancement, the Merchant Dictionary now includes a machine learning model that detects nuances, like shared MID via wallet providers like PayPal or Shopify and provides additional metadata elements like Merchant Logo and domain information.

Credit Platform: We continue to build towards the future of branded credit with the major updates to our credit capabilities we announced last fall. This quarter we announced two new commercial credit customers, ITS and Affinipay, delivering on the promise of our unified credit platform.
